Paradise in Piedmont 2010 Wrap-up

We're back at Ariotto now after an enjoyable tour of Piemonte. We battled rain showers the past few days but most were able to ride as much as they wanted. Here you see Brent riding through the Roero area towards one of our favorite places for pranzo whose sign you can see in the next photo. Those clear skies in this shot were not too last as soon after Lillian enjoyed her tris of pasta (ravioli filled with borage, tagliatelle with ragu and risotto with nettles and sausage) as shown in the final photo, the skies turned black and the rain poured down once again. Luckily Larry was nearby with the van to rescue everyone and transport them quickly to Ariotto to dry out and pack up bikes for tomorrow's departures. Larry & Heather have a little break before Legendary Climbs of the Giro EAST starts later in June.

  2. Larry & Heather - The description and photos of the tour are great...everyone looks happy and well fed. Sorry that the weather isn't cooperating but you cyclists are a tough breed! Hope the climb goes well..keep it coming.

P.S. - we miss seeing you both; Viterbo just isn't the same.
