Interbike 2010 Part 2

Shoes were everywhere at this Interbike from long-time industry standards like Sidi (who poked fun at those hyping shoes you put into a sort of toaster-oven to create a sort of custom fit rather than making them fit well from the start) to our friend Edoardo of Vittoria Cycling Shoes (pictured here with Larry), promoting their new direct-importing scheme to bike dealers. If you (like us) like Vittoria shoes, but have been discouraged by the lack of availability in the USA, your problem could be solved!
Your local dealer can now contact Vittoria direct and get as few as half-a-dozen pairs air-freighted directly to his/her store! Vittoria has cut out the importer/distributor and that markup, making the shoes a profitable sale for your dealer even when they factor in the air freight and import duty required to get 'em in their store. Edoardo (son of company founder and ex-pro Celestino Vercelli) says they'll even ship out one pair if it's an emergency. We love the shoes and think you will too -- as a long-time Official Supplier to CycleItalia, they gave us a couple of pairs this past season and we're very happy with them.
