Che fortuna! The famous MILLE MIGLIA historic car rally will pass through Viterbo tomorrow morning. The route comes within about 20 meters from our front porch! 375 vintage racing cars made 1927-1957 and piloted by famous race drivers like Mika Hakkinen and Jackie Stewart will be winding through the tiny streets of Viterbo on their way back to Brescia after an overnight in Rome. We've seen this rally before during bike tours in Tuscany but this will be the first chance to see the entire cavalcade. Larry will be up early to get some photos and post them here afterwards. And of course the Giro d'Italia starts tomorrow afternoon---plus F1 and Superbike races Sunday on TV as well---what a country!
