"The Story of the Giro d'Italia" Volume 1 has been sent back to "Chairman Bill" McGann (ex-Torelli capo) and he's busily going over Larry's suggestions. Here's a link to his excellent bikeraceinfo site and another for his McGann publishing empire.
While we're on the publishing subject, we've seen a recent issue of ROULEUR Magazine and really like it! The current issue has some great stories about DeRosa as well as features on "stuff they don't make anymore" that'll please any of you interested in well-written (and edited!) pieces about the sport and cycling in general. It's pricey at $20 an issue but miles above the too-typical "10 ways to killer abs" and "$8000 road bike shootout" garbage found in most cycling magazines these days. Rouleur is a magazine you might let a friend borrow, but you'll probably want it back when he's done reading it! We've become subscribers and are looking forward to the next issue.
