. That's her in the pink and yellow skinsuit. Winner Twigg is talking to the announcer Brian Drebber and you can just barely see third-place Connie P. as Heather talks to her. The other photo is of Heather's credentials for the US Cycling Olympic Trials in 1988. She missed making the team and retired from competition, making plans for graduate school. In between there was a stint as tour leader/translator on a Giro d'Italia cycling tour....and the rest (as they say) is history!
