TECH SUMMIT 2011

Just came back from Chicago and the midwest stop on the Park Tool sponsored Tech Summit 2011, a two-day, intensive, hands-on technical seminar. This was a great opportunity to take apart and play with some high-end equipment, some of which has yet to make its way over to our cycling vacations in Italy. Larry prides himself on keeping up-to-date on the latest components and especially the service techniques suggested by company reps like Dan Large of Campagnolo, who you see here demonstrating service tips on their 11-speed drivetrain. Dan's a great guy and also shares Larry's love of motorcycles.
In the lower photo you can see the legendary Calvin Jones of Park Tool. Heather even remembers Calvin from her days at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs! He's truly a legend in US cycling circles. Thanks to Dan and Campagnolo and Calvin and Park Tool for making this program possible!
