Ciao from Piemonte! We're on the vineyards part of of Vineyards to the Sea. We'll head into the steep Appennine mountains starting tomorrow on our way to the sea. Here you can see real, handmade "tajarin" (fresh egg noodles) we enjoyed for lunch on our way through the Asti hills, shown in the other photo. Our little group has bonded well, a nice mixture of old friends and new. Tonite we'll try a new (to us) SlowFood osteria nearby for dinner. We're keeping the ration of pedala forte and mangia bene just about perfect so far!
