La Corsa Rosa 2014 - revealed!

See the battle for the next name to be engraved on the Giro trophy with CycleItalia. As you probably know, the route for 2014's Corsa Rosa was revealed today. We've chosen the stages and lodgings and will update the website soon. Meanwhile, here's a sneak-peek at what we're planning*.

May 26 – Overnight flight to Milan’s Malpensa airport
May 27 – Arrive in Milan and catch our shuttle to Ariotto, our HQ hotel. Assemble and fine tune your bicycle or be fitted with one of ours before settling in to watch TV coverage of Stage 16, over the fearsome Gavia, awesome Stelvio and finishing on the Val Martello climb. Our welcome dinner will follow a toast to the Giro d’Italia.
May 28 – After a buffet breakfast where Carla might even scramble some eggs for you, we’ll make a van transfer to catch up with the race, possibly stopping in Vicenza for a private tour of the famous Campagnolo factory. We’ll try to see the sprint finish in Vittorio Veneto before settling in to our lodging in Levico Terme for two nights. Enjoy the regional cooking and wines at our group dinner.
May 29 – The race comes to us today, or you can tackle the climb to Rifugio Panarotta yourself and see what the riders are in for. Watch from whatever venue you prefer and take everything in, your lodging is waiting. Open night for dinner in the lively spa town.
May 30 - We’re off to Bassano del Grappa this morning to see the chrono stage up infamous Monte Grappa. Test yourself on the course or simply soak up the passion of the Corsa Rosa. Will the Maglia Rosa rest on new shoulders this evening? Van transfer to our lodging on the course for Stage 20, followed by group dinner.
May 31 – This is IT! The infamous and terrifying Monte Zoncolan will likely crown the winner. Watch from the roadside near our hotel or tackle the fearsome climb yourself. Toast the likely winner at our group dinner, we’ll buy the bubbly!
June 1 – Il Giro heads to Trieste for the finale, we head back to Ariotto to repack bikes and indulge in our own celebration before we enjoy a farewell dinner of Piemontese specialties.

June 2 – Airport transfers for departing flights or stay on and join us for Vineyards to the Sea.

Places on this tour are extremely limited - don't miss out!

* Itinerary subject to confirmation. Website will be updated soon and we'll be making an R & D trip to complete details in November 2013.
