Torelli Corsa Strada prize bicycle

Last year we awarded a special prize to a lucky person who reserved their place on a 2010 CycleItalia vacation before years end. The lucky winner was Steve Fellini who graciously let us stall delivery of his new bike until we returned from Italy. A few issues took longer to resolve than we hoped but it's finally ready to ride as you see here.

Torelli supplied the Corsa Strada frame and fork made from Columbus ZONA tubeset along with a Bormio build-kit including wheels. Steve opted to upgrade to the ultralight and ceramic bearings and swap some parts from the Campagnolo Centaur carbon group to create a "super triple" with a low gear of 30 X 29 so he can climb anything the Torelli tires will stick to!
Albabici supplied the super comfy SMP Stratos saddle as well as the limited-edition Sci-Con seat pack in the Italian federation colors. Steve's planning to join us in Sardegna next summer so perhaps we'll see this bike in action instead of his Mondonico?
