Here are some scenes from our first-ever tour in Sardegna. Sally welcomes Dave back from a warmup ride around the Costa Smeralda while Steve enjoys cycling by the sea. The other photo is of an insalata rustica some of our enjoyed as part of our lavish welcome dinner. The first plates were excellent as well, with a tasty fresh tomato sauced mezza maniche with pecorino cheese and a seafood fregula. Second plates included a baked fish dish as well as a variation on eggplant parmigiano. Tonite's dinner near Castelsardo will be almost totally fish-based --as we can see the sea from our hotel rooms! More soon...![]()
