Festa Ringraziamento (Thanksgiving in Italy)



Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the USA! We've celebrated this holiday in Italy numerous times, including once in Agrigento during our first visit to Sicily. Heather created the big feast, complete with pumpkin pie (though we roasted a large chicken instead of a turkey because of the size of our tiny oven) and all the trimmings to share with our friends visiting from Viterbo. Larry sneaked out for a ride out to Fontana Bianca which you can see here -- a wonderful Thanksgiving Day even without the football games on TV!

    Happy Thanksgiving to you and your's. It's warm enough here (Duluth,Mn)to ride in shorts and a long sleeze jersey, but I'd rather be where you are!

    Happy Thanksgiving! Our butcher had to cut off the legs on our tacchino so it would fit in our small oven.
