Andiamo! In Monferrato

Larry's done with Rome! It was a wonderful time but big cities aren't for us. Heather has a few obligations to finish before she can join him, but he's busy getting ready for the late start to our guided tour season.

But it can't be all work and no play! After driving up on Friday and putting an afternoon and all of Saturday into preparations, Sunday morning was perfect for a ride, especially after a thunderstorm overnight cleared out most of the haze and brought some fresh air to the region.

These photos were taken on a 40 km loop ride from our hotel. This area really is a paradise for cyclists who also enjoy great food and wine. But of course we knew that almost two decades ago, but now more and more are discovering it...but it's still unspoiled.

We're hoping the UNESCO World Heritage site designation helps keep in unspoiled, but why wait? Get our here now and enjoy it while you can! Our Piedmont Cycling Resort is a great way to do this.

We have a couple arriving today in fact. Next post should be on the final preparations for our guided tours, which start soon. If you missed out this year, sign up for our newsletter so you don't miss out on the announcement for 2016. With only 6-7 clients per tour, things sell-out quickly.
