Lodi and Stan share a cool treat on our way from San Severino to Monteconero. After some warm days we finally got the glorious sunshine, clear skies and moderate temperatures we all anticipated. Skies SO clear today we can see the snow-capped Appennine peaks from our hotel on the highest point on the Adriatic coast. After a farewell pranzo we're in the van for a transfer back to Rome to pack bikes and get ready to see the final Giro d'Italia stage tomorrow.

Gelato!
Lodi and Stan share a cool treat on our way from San Severino to Monteconero. After some warm days we finally got the glorious sunshine, clear skies and moderate temperatures we all anticipated. Skies SO clear today we can see the snow-capped Appennine peaks from our hotel on the highest point on the Adriatic coast. After a farewell pranzo we're in the van for a transfer back to Rome to pack bikes and get ready to see the final Giro d'Italia stage tomorrow.
