Heathers TORELLI rests as she waits for the others to catch up on our ride through the Verdicchio vineyards and hills north of San Severino. After some dicey looking clouds parted we were treated to glorious blue skies and sunshine. Last year some guests in the TV and movie biz remarked the best scene painters could not duplicate the gorgeous scenery on this ride! We paused in Cingoli for pranzo before a sinuous descent back into San Severino for gelato on the piazza. Tomorrow we take our final ride finishing atop Monteconero, highest elevation on the Adriatic coast.
