Ciao from our "undisclosed location" where R & D is ongoing. This morning on our way down from a hilltop hotel we passed by this dapper gentleman and his assistant. He happily consented to being photographed but probably doesn't know he's on the blog! Two days of great routes, great scenery and wonderful inns and dining have evened up today with the discovery of lots of roads and routes that will not work for this itinerary. We'll fortify ourselves with some fresh fava beans and Aglianico wine tonight, then get back in the van tomorrow for another try. There's too many great roads and gorgeous scenery in this region for us not to put every effort into bringing this new itinerary to you, hopefull by 2010! Once we have it completed we'll reveal the "undisclosed location."
